I've had no problems with fuses till now. I'd rather have working lights than no lights. I didn't know this till I did it again today. When I "fixed" my problem, the amp wasn't connected at the time. Well, last week when I "fixed" my problem, I did the same thing. Figured I'd just turn it to acc each time that way the amp isn't running. I disconnected my amp mainly because I didn't want to have to start and shut off the car each time I went to test the fuse. Started up my car, no clusters lights, or parking lights.Įdit: Well it turns out to be my amplifier that is causing the parking lamp fuse to blow. Well sad to say the problem decided to rear is ugly head this morning. 3057 is for the rear tail parking/turn signal/breaking lamp. 3157 is the front parking/turn signal lamp. Moral of this story, don't buy your light bulbs at Walmart. Good thing I did this because everything works now. So, I took out both driver and passenger side tail light bulbs and put in a set of Silverstar bulbs I bought the same day I bought the replacement set. My dad said it could have been a bad set of bulbs I bought. So my only though was the bulb themselves. It did need a good cleaning though so i did that. License plate bulb is also good as well as the harness. I'm assuming the bulbs for the sedan tail lights vs coupe are different? Check for a bad connection in the wires to the tails in which I saw nothing Three times I tried replacing the fuse and all three times it blew. So today I replaced the fuse however with another 15a fuse, started up the car, nothing. I found this to be quite odd being that the only thing I did was replace a tail light bulb. So I started looking at fuses and found out that the parking lamp fuse blew. My brake lights worked however, just not the parking lights.Īfter getting home I did some research and found out that this problem indicates that my tail lights aren't working. Thursday morning I started up my car to head to work I noticed I had no dash lights except for my stereo which was the only thing working. I figured this was indicating a burnt out bulb somewhere. This past Tuesday on my way to the mall, I noticed my right turn signal indicator was blinking really fast.
